Wahoo!

Congratulations on (almost) completing Term 1!

It’s been a blast and we’ve learnt a lot, especially about being adaptive to the way that we make media.

Sometimes, we have the luxury of a radio studio, other times, we create remotely.

In the break, keep making Assessment Portfolio segments from your home studio – no matter what set up you have:

TODAY’S TASK – MORNING:

Discuss how our Assessment “Evergreen” radio pieces are progressing.

By now, you should have 1 or 2 pieces to submit to Google Drive, Final Assessments.

We made a fantastic “Pirate Radio” show in Cert IV last week, and we’d like to do a “Themeless” show this week and it’s a place to play your “Evergreen” pieces. Please submit!

Think! About generating ideas for topics for program segments, introducing a new angle and identifying opportunities for audio production elements. Here’s some inspo.

Meet back here at 11 am to “chew the fat”

AFTERNOON CLASS:

To start:

Group discussion: on a scale of 1 to 10, how are you feeling?

TASK:

Assessment 1: ½ hour show is due.

If you’ve completed, well done.

If not, and given that we’re adapting to a home studio, the revised program is 2-3 talk breaks with songs in between, submitted to Google Drive Final Assessment folder.
Please see the (unchanged) requirements in Subject Guide.

In the break, keep making radio segments and shows so that you are constantly building your skill-set and, portfolio; you’ll soon have an excellent body of work.
