THE CHALLENGE:

By yourself, or with some classmates, produce a short radio segment:
“My favourite thing about TAFE”.

It must be suitable for a TAFE Radio audience, and must definitely be #safeforTAFE.

Keep it to 2 minutes or less.

When you’re done:

Upload to Soundcloud.

Embed the Soundcloud in a new post on your WordPress site with an appropriate headline and CC-licensed image. (Consider using a photo you’ve taken yourself.)

If you’re feeling brave, share the post link to our section Facebook group with the hashtag #ContentChallenge.

Need some help getting started?

Are you working with someone? By yourself?
If you’re looking for a collaborator – drop by the Zoom call for today, or post in the Facebook group, or message one of your classmates to talk them into doing the challenge for today.

Choose one key idea.
Have a key idea or theme to your radio segment.

Structure it.
You don’t have to script every word before you record, but you do need to have a plan. Work out how you’ll start and finish the segment.

To record it …
You could set up a Zoom call with your collaborator/s.

Using headphones, chat on Zoom.

AT THE SAME TIME, record your voice to your phone.

Share the files using Google Drive.

Using Audition or Audacity (or other audio editing program), put the various voice tracks together so they make sense.

Export/mixdown and upload to Soundcloud.

Not sure about Soundcloud?

    1. Set up a free account.
    2. Upload your track.
    3. Then embed it on WordPress.
